Finally another post...

Okay so I hope you all read the part were it said be patient with me in regards to this blog thing. It has been crazy busy these last few months and things are finally settling down. Hopefully it won't take me 2-3 months to post again.
Let me catch you up on the latest....

• Addy turned 4 in January! We took her out for pizza and bowling to celebrate the big day. It was also the same day of the big wind storm that did major damage to our entire county. The news reported winds up to 105 mph. It was strong enough to blow siding off our house and shingles off the roof. The siding was finally fixed last week and the roof should be done this next week. We are having a brand new roof put on. I'm so excited. It will all be one color again - and one that actually matches the house!
• The new floor in the kitchen in almost done. Jeremie has been replacing the baseboards as I type. It looks really good. I'm very impressed by his carpenter skills.
• I applied to the Masters of Social Work at Utah State University (Tooele campus) in January. (Hence the blog delay. All free time was spent preparing my application.) I received the long anticipated phone call yesterday...I WAS ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM!!!
• For those that do not know we are finally expecting another baby in August!! Hopefully we will find out soon whether it is a he or she. I'm feeling much better (again, another reason I wasn't blogging).
• We actually had a "snow day" here in Tooele! They closed the school. First time they've done that in 20 years. It was a crazy snow storm. We had drifts in our yard probably 4-5 feet tall! Jeremie tried to leave for work that morning around 6:15 am. At about 7:30 he came back and said the car was stuck in the road. Sure enough, about 2 houses away sat the Honda. He had to take the snow blower up the street and with Scotty's help the car was returned safely home!

I think that sums up the last few months. I will try and post some pictures of the latest happenings here with the Fowler's.

We are Bloggers!!!

We finally decided to create a blog. With our family spread so far apart we haven't done a very job at keeping in touch. We want to be better at sharing what's happening with the Fowler Family. This blogging thing is pretty new to me so be patient as it evolves....

We have several things going on. We are constantly in a state of house project/upgrade. Jeremie has been taking off baseboards in the kitchen in preparation of the new floor we're putting down this weekend. (Hopefully it will be done in time for Christmas) I've been busy getting ready for Christmas. Every year I say I'm going to get it all done early so we can enjoy the holiday season and not be so stressed out and every year I'm frantically trying to finish everything before the last minute. Addyson has been so fun this year. It's amazing to watch them gain an understanding of things. Years past I've been able to do my shopping with Addy present and she didn't know what I was doing. Well, that's not the case anymore. She is very aware of what's going on around her! This year she was actually making requests for Santa. It's been a little more challenging to be sneaky. She is also dying to open presents. We spent the weekend at the Fowler's and Addy tried every thing to convince Grandma she needed to open a present right now! Addyson and I were wrapping presents the other day and I was wrapping Jeremie's. He got a (another) gun for Christmas and was told that was his only gift. I had gotten a few other presents and told Addy it was secret and not to tell daddy. The instant she saw him she told him we wrapped his presents and they were a secret! She sold me out!! Never tell a secret to a three year old!
